Celebrating Classical Music Month

Happy Classical Music Month

September is Classical Music Month!
In 1994, President Bill Clinton established September 1994 as Classical Music Month by official Presidential Proclamation:

“Classical music is a celebration of artistic excellence. Great art endures through the ages, and in the United States we have embraced that great music and incorporated it into the American experience.”
Presidential Proclamation 6716, President Bill Clinton, 1994

Why Celebrate?

Classical music continues to enrich our daily lives — from beloved movie scores and television soundtracks to streaming playlists and the thrill of live concerts. It inspires, uplifts, and connects us across generations.
